Changi, we’re at Changi Airport!

Singapore’s Changi Airport seems wonderfully efficient, calm and relaxed. We have checked-in for our onward Qantas flight, and are making our way to the lounges upstairs (perhaps via the duty-free shops). The lounges are currently undergoing renovations to make them even better than they were before. Up to 20 shower suites are offered, allowing guests to revitalise before some truly long-haul flights. Light snacks and drinks are on offer. What a great place to wait for boarding, although given tonight’s A380 flight, we anticipate getting to the gate early so we have time to explore the aircraft. We’ll have plenty of time in-flight to make copious notes – so we’ll have a superb update for you in the morning.
