Good Afternoon from Malaysia’s Golden Lounge
We have been welcomed into the Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge – a pleasant place to revive after travel and prepare for journeys ahead. The spacious lounge offers everything for the traveller – from delicious snacks and drinks, showers, internet access, a children’s area, meeting rooms and even a Platinum Suite for First Class customers and top-tier mileage card holders. The lounge complex (in the Satellite terminal), measures an amazing 43,284 square feet! That’s the size of a football pitch, though you’d never know it as the lounge is so nicely designed. It also looks brand new as it was completely refurbished in June of this year. Works of art are located throughout the lounge, and are all done by local artists. They are actually for sale, just one aspect of Malaysia’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
